Camp Theme Nights

Every night at Poplar Point Camp is a celebration! During dinner, we host exciting theme nights where campers are invited to dress up and jump into the fun. From creative costumes to high-energy games built around the night’s theme, these special evenings quickly become a highlight of the week and a great way for campers to build friendships and make unforgettable memories.

Get ready for some seriously fun Camp Theme Nights! In the past, campers have thrown it back in style for 90’s Night, rocked their best look for Math-lete vs. Athlete, clashed it up on Wacky Tacky Wednesday, and stepped into the spotlight as their favorite Famous Person or Character. Each theme creates a fun, laughter-filled atmosphere with interactive games, friendly competitions, and plenty of photo-worthy moments.

Dressing up is completely optional, and costumes don’t have to be fancy or complicated—creativity and enthusiasm are what matter most! Below you’ll find examples of past Theme Nights. Please note that the themes listed may or may not be the ones we use for the 2026 camping season. The final schedule, including official theme nights, will be communicated once it has been finalized.
